5th Grade Apples

These amazing colored pencil apples were created by my 5th grade students. This was a great lesson for a filler day between projects where students could practice colored pencil techniques. All we had to do was follow an awesome youtube video I found from “Arts Core.” I had my students fold 9×12″ paper in half. One half we used for the apple. If time allowed, we did another fruit like a banana or pear.
